he history of Eooma is one of segregation and conflict.  Once, the people of the continent were one race of similar appearances, but over time, changes came about, changes that could not be ignored or dismissed. 
hese changes marked history passing, and brought about strife and separation.  Ultimately, the common features began to vary, and these variations grew to commonality among groups.  These groups were at first one Community, living and surviving the threat of the Great Dragons as a whole. 
ut, soon, hardship and leadership began to wear on groups, and they left the Community.  Ultimately, the people came together again, but this time to the sound of clashing steele and the screams of the dying. 
he War brought about the end of an Age, and the birth of new races.  New races of twisted form and mind, borne of the races of olde.

ragons, being the most cultured of the ancient races, were observers of these events from the beginnings, and in thier ancient tongue, named the creatures:
The First to be named
Eru (Eh-roo), Meaing "To Get, to Gain, to Win"
Pronounced "Elf" in the common tongue.
The first leaders of the land, Greedy and power thirsty, ultimately driving the others away. 
The Second to be named
Human (Hoo-mah-n), Meaning "Dissatisfaction, Displeasure, Discontent, Complaints, Unhappiness
Pronounced "Human" in the common tongue.
Always an unhappy and complaining people, they earned this name.
The Third to be named
Dorui (Doh-roo-ee), Meaning Earthen Walls, Earthwork.
Pronounced "Dwarf" in the common tongue.
After leaving the Community, they began living in caves in the mountains, and eventually tunneling into the mountains, earning them this name from the Great Dragons.
he War brought rise to other beings,
The Fifth race
Oku (Oh-koo), Meaning Depth, Bottom of one's heart.
The result of the darkness that was brought from the deepest darkest corner of the Eru's hearts, these twisted creatures are gruesome facades of their once proud Eru race.
The Bunkiten -parting of ways- of the Eru. 
A division, the Migaru Eru (Mee-ga-roo)
The Light Elves- Light, agile, nimble, casual, carefree
and the Nekura Eru (Neh-koo-rah)
The Darke Elves- Dark natured, introverted, dour, moody, insular, glum, pessimistic
